I didn't want him to get fired either, but it happened, so I'm happy with Peters coming in. Like many fans from all teams, many flames fans are only looking at win/loss records, and playoff experience. People seem to only look at results, which are very important, but there are many factors that play into results. Coaching being a very small part of that. |

I don't think there's a coach out there that hasn't had their deployment female doged about. Babcock, Trotz, AV, Q, the supposed best of the best have all been questioned on their personnel choices this season. |

Calgary's problem is not the coach. The last 2 were really good ones. Calgary's problem is on the ice. They need more leadership up front. ..or else one more scoring forward. They are just not a team to dominate anybody right now and when they don't win the squeakers, they miss the playoffs. I thought their coaches got a lot out of them these last 3 years, but they need to take a few more steps forward with players. |
